I'm Alex. I'm a computer wizard on a quest to make my own corner of the internet. The way it ought to be done. I want to set an example and become insanely skilled in the process. I think homelab is nice, but home-datacenter is better. That's why I've focused on replacing the key infrastructure I can't live without first: Routing, email, phone calls, instant messaging. Followed by important but less critical things like a website and a remote-git-repo. I'll still make the classic home media server later, its just not a priority.
I try my best to make real life into minecraft. I'll write about it here. It includes things like my-computer-repair-side-hustle, exercise, sewing, gardening, or whatever I happen to be hyperfixated on at the moment.
